Georges Jouve : À La Lumière D'apollon

In July 1991, Catherine and Stéphane de Beyrie made several visits to Jacqueline Jouve's home, where they acquired part of her collection of works by Georges Jouve, her husband who died in 1964. Jacqueline Jouve joined them in October 1991, in their property on the banks of the Seine, for informal conversations.

For five days, the woman who was the ceramist's wife and accomplice for nearly thirty years recounts her artistic and family memories. These conversations have been preciously preserved by Catherine and Stéphane de Beyrie, who are now publishing extracts and also revealing unpublished photos from their collection of Georges Jouve's work through their transhumance to the USA.
