Oyster Perpetual Submariner : La Clé Des Profondeurs

Auteur(s) : Nicholas Foulkes

When it was launched in 1953, the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Submariner was the first diver's wristwatch guaranteed to be water-resistant to a depth of 100 metres. This depth was increased to 200 metres the following year, then to 300 metres in 1989. Over the years, the Submariner has benefited from the innovations perfected by Rolex, making it the timeless benchmark for diving watches.

This book offers a detailed presentation of the Submariner. It presents the remarkable technical innovations that led to the creation of the watch, as well as the adventures of the fabulous pioneers who tested its various prototypes.
