Diego Giacometti (1902-1985) was a visual artist and creator of furniture and objects who collaborated for many years with his brother, the sculptor Alberto Giacometti. Jean-Michel Frank and then Elsa Schiaparelli subsequently invited the two brothers to design objects - lamps, vases and small furniture. Diego Giacometti's poetic style and universe are easily recognisable: bronze with a green patina, plaster left in its natural state, strong and nervous lines with animal figures.
Without claiming to be exhaustive, this monograph presents a wide range of works by this singular furniture designer.
