Paul Cocksedge: Reflections

Auteur(s) : Paul Cocksedge
London-based designer Paul Cocksedge (1979-) has spent the last two decades building a reputation for experimental, multi-disciplinary work imbued with a sense of simplicity, joy and wonder. Interested in science and fascinated by how people interact with design, Cocksedge channels his curiosity to create thought-provoking pieces that challenge the perception of everyday objects.
This first career-spanning monograph presents Cocksedge's lighting, product design, architectural projects, installations and sculptures in extraordinary detail, including his work for Flos, Moooi, Swarovski, Hermès, Friedman Benda and Carpenter's Workshop.
Conceived as an exploration of Cocksedge's sketchbook, this volume presents hundreds of previously unpublished images from his archive, including sketches, drawings, Polaroid photographs and ephemera. Interviews and essays by leading figures in the design industry, including Marc Benda and Ron Arad, are interspersed throughout the book on tracing paper.
