New expanded edition

Sculptor, dinandier, goldsmith lacquer, bookbinder, interior designer, Jean Dunand (1877-1942) is one of the most important figures of the Art Deco movement. Trained in sculpture, he turned, shortly after his arrival in Paris in 1898, towards the dinanderie and lacquer, with which he composed on screens, panels and furniture.

This new expanded edition presents nearly 2000 documents, mainly in colour. Preceded by an illustrated biography, a repertoire surveys nearly 1800 works by the artist, more than 600 of them unpublished in the first edition (1991).
