He has designed products for a number of international brands, as well as commercial and large-scale architectural projects, including high-end residences, a hotel and commercial spaces.
Contemporary and inventive, Van Duysen's residences are both his design laboratories and highly personalised spaces. This is particularly true of his own homes, which are the subject of this highly personal book, produced in collaboration with photographer François Halard. From his base in Belgium, where Van Duysen has created modern spaces in a centuries-old former notary's office, to his Casa M in Portugal, where living spaces flow between elementary walls, Van Duysen designs residential projects using concrete, natural stone, wood and light.
