Plafonds Artistiques - Artistic Ceilings : Bottega D'arte Di Folco

Located in Sora, south of Rome, Bottega d'arte Di Folco has been designing and producing richly decorated ceilings for almost half a century. Vladimiro Di Folco's art studio is one of the most striking success stories in the sector, and a fine example of a family-run business.

Handcrafted in wood, stucco, plaster, semi-precious stones, faux marble and other noble materials, these unique pieces in churches, castles and historic homes have restored splendour and nobility to these places, enhancing a tradition that is now dying out.

This book presents the process that precedes and accompanies the creation of art ceilings at the Di Falco studio. Each work is accompanied by scale drawings, sometimes in perspective, and illustrated.
