Based on some forty paintings, this exhibition catalogue highlights the way in which landscape was a decisive factor in the development of Georges Braque's work, both in his Fauvist and Cubist periods.

The landscapes on display were painted in places as diverse as Antwerp, Estaque, La Ciotat, Céret, La Roche Guyon, Carrières-Saint-Denis, Dieppe and Varengeville.
