Art Déco style is an extraordinary profusion of ideas and audacity, the results can be questioned but can not leave anyone indifferent. Art Déco succeeded to the lyrical bloomings of Art Nouveau (Modern Style), style of transition between the XIXth and the XXth century.

This new edition of the Mobilier Art déco, first published in 1981, is the same as the first one, plus the chapter about the steamships added in 1990. Notes have been completed, some have been added and the illustrations has been updated thanks to new color photographs.
