Since the beginning of his career, the architect and designer Antonio Citterio (1950-) has created more than 600 products united by a distinctive style that combines an air of discreet, elegant modernity with meticulous attention to detail.

Covering more than fifty years of the Milanese designer's work in the field of industrial design, this book offers an in-depth and wide-ranging account of the career of one of the great masters of contemporary design. The book opens with Citterio's work, marked by the Baia sofa and the Diesis series, and continues with his major partnerships with Flexform, Arclinea, Vitra, Flos and Axor, through to his more recent work with Cassina and Knoll.
