Ornements Orfèvres D'exception Du Xixe Siècle

This book presents a set of silverware objects typical of the styles of the 19th century. Each of them offers an example of the talent and creativity of this century often scorned by history of art.
Through works by renowned silversmiths, of which the Froment-Meurices, Henri Duponchel or Gustave Odiot, this study shows the diversity of French 19th century creation, between English, Troubadour, Ottoman and Oriental styles.
