This book by Astrid Mallick, head of the Prints and Drawings Department at the Bibliothèque Stanislas in Nancy, and Pierre Sanchez summarises, in alphabetical order by artist, the works exhibited in Lorraine between 1833 and 1950. The geographical area covered includes the departments of Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meurthe, Moselle and Vosges.

It provides a summary of more than 180 exhibition booklets, listing in chronological order by artist the works presented at these events in Lorraine, totalling more than 7,000 artists.
