Exhibition at the Musée de l'armée, Paris, 10 October 2019 - 26 January 2020

This exhibition catalogue brings together 200 masterpieces from the production of armoury and harquebusery, but also goldsmithing, embroidery and saddlery, since the 16th century.

These pieces of military pomp and circumstance reflect the soldiers' taste for finery, luxury being a marker of their hierarchical rank and the recognition of their actions.
