La Collection Emil Bührle

Exhibition at the Musée Maillol, Paris, 20 March - 21 July 2019

This exhibition catalogue presents some sixty masterpieces from the collection of Swiss industrialist Emil Bührle, representing several currents of modern art such as Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, the early 20th century with the Nabis, the Fauves and the Ecole de Paris. Their confrontation underlines the links and filiations between the artistic currents through different periods.
