This catalogue gathers the works exhibited during the exhibition dedicated to the French painter Gérard Garouste (1946-), covering forty years of creation from 1980 to 2019.

It brings together all the series developed by the artist (the Indian women, Rabelais, the portraits, the Bible...) who mixes Christian and Hebrew cultures, myths and legends, as well as his personal history.
