This book is the catalogue of the retrospective of works by the English painter Francis Bacon, created from his exhibition at the Grand Palais in 1971 until his death. This period of his life, marked by a strong link with literature, is presented in some sixty works, including twelve triptychs, which can be consulted in the form of leaflets.
