New expanded edition
Since the first editions of 2001 and 2004, many exhibitions, books and catalogues have enriched our knowledge of Mathurin Méheut (1882-1958), an artist who was a painter, illustrator, engraver, decorator, ceramist, sculptor and even teacher. This book, in its new, considerably expanded version, takes stock of the current state of Denise Delouche and Anne de Stoop's discoveries.
The renewed text and the numerous unpublished or little-known illustrations underline the extent to which Méheut's work goes far beyond the field of Brittany and ethnology, where he has been catalogued until now, to situate him in the national and international framework of the art of the first half of the 20th century.
