Le Château D'écouen : Grand Oeuvre De La Renaissance

The Château d'Écouen, built in 1538 on the orders of Anne de Montmorency, now houses the Musée national de la Renaissance.

This book details the design and implementation of the building. It also highlights the painted decor, the stained glass windows, the heraldic pavements, the panelling and the chapel.
