This exhibition catalogue brings together works that constitute an exploration of masculine identities in the African and Oceanian worlds. The contributions of the authors, ethnologists, anthropologists, art historians and writers complement each other in order to bring out reflections on the place occupied by the ornamentation of the male body in social relations.
