La Maison De Verre : Le Chef-D'oeuvre De Pierre Chareau

Auteur(s) : Dominique Vellay

This book is dedicated to the major project of the architect and decorator Pierre Chareau (1883-1950), the glass house of Doctor Dalsace, on rue Saint-Guillaume in Paris, which houses a home and a medical practice.

This masterpiece of modernity and interior architecture, built between 1928 and 1931, was conceived as a total space whose metal structure is associated with glass panels and paving stones.
