Since 1983, the Hermannshof garden in Weinheim, Germany, has become an international reference in the use of perennials and the center of the so-called "German Naturalist Style". The use of plants according to their environment is exemplary and the plantings in the "meadow" or "steppe" style, which admirably reconcile ecology and aesthetics, are models of their kind, even for modest-sized gardens.
