Ellsworth Kelly (1923-2015) is considered one of the most important American abstract painters and sculptors. Spanning seven decades, his career is marked by the independence of his art from any school or artistic movement and by his innovative contribution to twentieth-century painting and sculpture.

This catalogue of the first exhibition in France to tackle Ellsworth Kelly's work with such a broad chronological spectrum includes over a hundred works - paintings, drawings, photographs and collages.
