Born in Budapest, Vera Molnár (1924-2023) moved to Paris in 1947 and remained active there until her death. A prolific artist, she blazed a trail between concrete art, geometric abstraction and constructivism. Vera Molnár is also regarded as a pioneer of digital art, which she began to explore in the 1960s.

This monograph, published to mark the artist's centenary, traces Vera Molnár's entire career, from the late 1940s to her death. It includes six writings by the artist, an updated biography of her last ten years of production and a selection of 280 works characteristic of her different periods of work, from private and public collections and the artist's studio. Particular emphasis is placed on the artist's latest creations: stained glass windows for the Abbey of Lérins (Alpes-Maritimes), photograms, NFT, etc.

This book, the most complete corpus to date on the work of Vera Molnár, offers a special insight into the contributions of this major artist of abstract art to the specific field of digital art.
