Designed for Marie-Antoinette in 1777 by the architect Richard Mique, the Turkish boudoir was decorated by the Rousseau brothers and then refurnished under the First Empire for Empress Joséphine with creations by Jacob-Desmalter adorned with precious fabrics.
This book was published on the occasion of the restoration of the Turkish boudoir.
