Second edition
A landscape engineer by training and a naturalist photographer, Cédric Pollet (1976-) has spent 10 years searching for the most beautiful tree barks around the world. In this book, he presents the most spectacular, most graphic and most astonishing examples he has seen in Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceania and North and South America.
The book features a photo of the bark, which is a work of art in itself, accompanied by a photo of the tree in its environment and a short text. The first edition of this book was awarded the P.J. Redouté Prize, "Prix Artistique", in 2008.
