Robert Couturier
Auteur(s) : Valérie Da Costa
Initially influenced by Maillol, Robert Couturier (1905-1988) established himself in 1949 as one of the representatives of the new figurative sculpture marked by the war, which included Alberto Giacometti and Germaine Richier. He chose plaster, a material that gave him great freedom and allowed him to incorporate found objects, from which his works often emerged.
This monograph is devoted to the life and work of the sculptor.
