Philippe Hiquily : Catalogue Raisonné 1948-2011

Auteur(s) : Tara Hiquily, Jean François Roudillon

If surrealism seems to have marked his whole production, Philippe Hiquily (1925-2013) has always refused to be linked to any artistic movement. Nevertheless, through his sulptures, his jewels, his furnitures and all his creations gathered together in this catalogue raisonne, we found the same erotism caracteristic of his work. A smooth universe with forms taken to nature, as antenna, insect's paws ou even horns. Aid of salvaged material, Philippe Hiquily has created a world close to New Realism.
