Initiés : Bassin Du Congo

The objects presented in this book (masks, statuettes, insignia, ornaments, musical instruments, etc.) are all linked to an initiation rite in the Congo Basin. These rites are related to two types of initiations: the apprenticeship that prepares adolescents to become adults or the introduction into a secret society.
