This book is the catalogue of the first major exhibition devoted to Antoni Gaudí (1852-1926) to be held in France in Paris in fifty years. It brings together the spectacular creations of this singular artist, presenting in particular sets of furniture never before exhibited in France, offering a new vision of the artist as a unique and singular figure, a genius who was not isolated and who practised in Catalonia in the midst of social, political and urban upheaval.
